It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Tasos Mitsopoulos, Minister of Defense, which occured on 22 March, 2014.  Mr. Mitsopoulos, who was a true friend and great supporter of the Cyprus Remote Sensing Society, had graced us with his presence at the RSCy2013 and he also planned to attend the RSCy2014 conference. We extend our sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues - may his memory be eternal.
