ʽSixth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environmentʼ  26-29 March, 2018 - Cyprus

The Organizing Committee of the ‘Sixth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environment’ invite you to join us in Cyprus on March 26-29, 2018 to network with leading experts in the field of Remote Sensing and Geo-information. The conference will take place at the Aliathon Holiday Village in Paphos, Cyprus.

The Technical Program is open to all topics in Remote Sensing and Geo-information of Environment and related techniques and applications.

Important Dates

  • Date for abstract submission: 10 February, 2018 
  • Notification of authors for abstract acceptance: 15 February, 2018
  • Submission due date for full papers: 25 March, 2018

The conference proceedings of the RSCy2018 will be published by SPIE after peer review and acceptance. The accepted papers published by SPIE will also be submitted to SCOPUS for indexing.

Selected papers of the RSCy 2018 will be published by several international journals.


The Copernicus Training and Information Session, to be held on 27 March 2018 at the Aliathon Holiday Village in Paphos, Cyprus, is part of a series of national Copernicus events. The European Commission is organising the Sessions at the request of and in collaboration with Member States. The event is free of charge and open to the public; registation for the RSCy2018 conference is not required. However, in order to attend the session, all participants, including those registered for the RSCy2018 conference, must register on the dedicated event's website (www.copernicus.eu/infosession-cyprus).


The conference is supported by the EXCELSIOR project for the upgrading of the ERATOSTHENES Research Center.
