ʽEighth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environmentʼ  16-18 March, 2020 - Cyprus

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizing committee of the RSCy2020 decided to cancel the 2020 conference.

The Government of the Republic of Cyprus announced on 10 March, 2020, six days prior to the RSCy2020 that, due to the Covid-19 virus, all conferences and events are to be suspended. The pandemic of the COVID-19 virus led to the difficult decision to cancel the conference for the health and safety of all participants. On March 21, 2020, a travel ban was implemented by closing the airports in Cyprus and restrictions on movement in an effort to contain the COVID-19 virus.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause to participants and speakers. The Organizers proceeded with immediate actions required due to cancellation of the conference and proceeded with refunding the conference fees. The manuscripts submitted for the RSCy2020 for the SPIE Conference Proceedings will be published by peer-review and acceptance. We would like to thank SPIE for their assistance and continued support of the RSCy2020 conference.

We would like to thank our co-organizers, sponsors, supporters, guest speakers, chairmen and presenters for your contribution and support of the Conference.
