ʽEighth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environmentʼ  16-18 March, 2020 - Cyprus

The Ministry of Health of the Government of Cyprus announced today (10/3/2020) that, due to the Covid-19 virus, all conferences and events are to be suspended. As well, the Ministry has instituted travel bans for individuals from China, Italy, Iran, Korea; quarantine measures for individuals from Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, France, Spain, Greece and the United Kingdom for up to 14 days from their entry into Cyprus; and self-monitoring for individuals from Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium and Singapore.

As public health is our utmost concern, the International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geo-information of Environment (RSCy2020) is postponing the conference.

The Organizing Committee of the ‘Eighth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environment’ invite you to join us in Cyprus on March 16-18, 2020 to network with leading experts in the field of Remote Sensing and Geo-information. The conference will take place at the Aliathon Holiday Village in Paphos, Cyprus. The Conference is under the auspices of H.E. the Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy.

The Technical Program is open to all topics in Remote Sensing and Geo-information of Environment and related techniques and applications. Workshops will include a variety of topics.

Important Dates

  • Date for abstract submission: 7 February, 2020 - Extended
  • Notification of authors for abstract acceptance: 10 February, 2020 - Extended
  • Submission due date for full papers: 13 March, 2020 - Extended

The conference proceedings of the RSCy2020 will be published by SPIE after peer review and acceptance. Open Access publication is also available with an extra fee. The accepted papers published by SPIE will also be submitted to SCOPUS for indexing.

Best Paper or Best Poster Award:
Sensors journal will sponsor the Best Paper Award or Best Poster Award with a cash prize of 300 euro and Sensors’ certificate.
GEO University will sponsor the Best Paper Award or Best Poster Award by providing the GEO Premium package, which provides access to all GEO University courses for one year.

Selected papers of the RSCy 2020 will be published by several international journals.


Supporters
